Exploring Shinjuku

Shinjuku is a busy central ward in Tokyo that is located a few stops away from Shibuya, Ikebukuro and Harajuku using the JR Yamanote line. The hotel we stayed in (Keio Plaza Hotel) is also found in Shinjuku, across the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. We didn't spend too much time in Shinjuku but we explored the different department stores; Odakyu Department store, Keio Department store and  Lumine. Most of our time spent in Shinjuku was eating in the little nearby restaurants around our hotel and checking out convenience stores for interesting Japanese snacks.

We also dropped by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for the observation deck they have  which overlooks the city. Definitely a place to check out!
